I will be photographing my day to day life for a full year and sharing it with the world. There will be themed weeks and days as the year progresses, varying from landscapes to portraits, macro to mega, brilliant to dull and many more. Come join me and be inspired and check out my Flickr Photostream to see all of these photos and MANY more.
DAY 365, This is a little bit of a bittersweet day for me. I am THRILLED to death that I am DONE with this Project365, BUT I am a little bit bummed at the same time. After a little over week with no Internet and not being able to post photos, multiple times throughout the year wanting to quit the project, and Sheena putting up with my photography shenanigans……You would think I would have something BIG planned to end the Year Through Lenses……… I hate to burst your bubble but…..I am about to lay down in our Denver hotel room and miss out on all the New Year festivities….. Thank you to everyone that has read my blog and encouraged me all through the year. I have TWO photo blogs and a book of this years photos planned for 2012 and am really looking forward to getting started on them. Thanks again everyone and I hope you have enjoyed The Year Through Lenses!!!!!
Day 364, This little guy was caught doing a little late night reading. I have really enjoyed taking photos with Lego mini-figures, look for another photo project this next year featuring ONLY a Lego figure. It should be fun. :)
Day 363, WE HAVE A WASHER AND DRYER AT THE FARM NOW!!!!!!!!! It only took 6 MONTHS….. We are very grateful to be able to do laundry whenever we want now and not have to barge into our parents houses to use their washer and dryer. The rest of the house is making good headway as well. There will always be something to work on out here. Kitchen should be finished next!!! :)
Day 362, After receiving the remote control helicopter for Christmas, it got me fired up about getting my remote control trucks running again. I KNOW Sheena is thrilled about this….. Look for a return of the trucks in the year 2012!!! :)
Day 360, This little booger is one of the most fun toys I received for Christmas. I have always wanted a R/C helicopter that does more than up and down and this is a great one. It was not very easy to photograph and fly a helicopter at the same time and I had a pretty stellar crash shortly after this photo. All is well and nothing broke…..soooo that was lucky.
Day 359, Sheena and I went to her Aunt and Uncle’s house on Christmas day and her Uncle has one o the most impressive home aquariums that I have ever seen. He has most recently added these beautiful Discus fish born from GERMANY!!! It was really neat to see these fish and I can’t wait to see them grow into adults.
Day 358, I haven’t been to our church’s candlelight Christmas Eve service in many years, because we were always out of town. HOWEVER; this year we were all in Guymon and able to enjoy a long standing tradition at Victory Memorial United Methodist Church. Maybe someday I will get to show off my vocal talent at the service… :)
Day 356, I have become our horses best friend. They are standing at the cattle guard every morning just waiting for me to bring them a bale of hay and bust their water. I think Sheena is getting jealous they like me better now. :)
